LOVE IN TODAYS DATE

We like to live in fast lanes of life, fast track workplaces, fast food plazas, fast track dating amidst all these pathos of humanity there lies a deeply wounded organ called HEART.
we love to date dont we,we like when one comes to our life,we spend time with them, make them perfect from their imperfection & love to be with them,we feel like on top of this world,we fly on seventh heaven, slowly it becomes such a hang,we feel like its time to get over the hang of it,we feel suffocated in those relationships,we feel tangled, trampled & trashed BY THEM.they seem so parasitic to us,we feel like its time to break the shackles of this disease called relationship.
so we set out with vengeance,we try ogling at others,we feel like sleeping with every other person we happen to brush by in our day to day lives,it may be the posy receptionist of the restaurant we used to have lovely lunches & romantic dinners,or it may be the persons we meet at our workplace, they may be fat as pigs or skinny as kate moss,we need to score,if thats what we think with our sex life,we need to score more,we need to cheat more,we need to get laid more.
then we take digs at the loved one who may or may not know about our escapades,we tell them that they are not the same person whom we fell in love with, they have changed,we tell them that they no longer are that graceful or beautiful as they were, they dont bring the same joy nowadays than they used to.we call them ugly, wretched & imperfect,we score higher.verbal spats-10points,loud fights-20 points,tears-'boom' 40 points,a slang or two-50 points,a slap-80 points there we are getting there,a physical assault-bang '100 points.'
broken hearts pave way towards broken relationships & break ups, which are not so beautiful,we long for them but we console no rather applaud ourselves,'good going mate,we lost the ugly duckling, now we'll get the princess.we do find others, but they are not even paupers,we console ourselves with our over empowering
egos that we deserve better & we'll get better but for the record we did kill the best part of our life with our own glorious hands.where's love if we extinguished the sacred lamp of love with our own poisonous breath.
i am not saying dating is bad,but we don't live in the american pie movies,we aren't candy floss romantic buffoons.it may sound old fashioned but mills & boon romances do happen.
